Wild Space Dance Company All The City's A Wild Space Led by Founder/Artistic Director Debra Loewen, Wild Space Dance Company has intrigued audiences for three decades.

Known for site-specific works and artistic collaborations, Wild Space takes audiences on adventures through built and natural landscapes, visual art, history and the human condition through wry humor, clever choreography and emotionally-charged dance. Loewen and the company are critically acclaimed and have been cited among the city's top ten performances of the year by the Milwaukee Journal Senti

Recent performances have featured collaborations with nationally acclaimed photographer Tom Bamberger, Duo d'Entre Deux, local composer Tim Russell, Villa Terrace and UW-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts. Wild Space has performed in Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, and throughout southeastern Wisconsin. International touring has included performances and teaching in Japan and South Korea. An affiliate of the United Performing Arts Fund, Wild Space is a company-in-residence at Lincoln Center Middle School of the Arts.

A collaboration you didn’t see coming! Wild Space at Summerfest! Join us at Summerfest for our performance in collaboration with the incredible FuzzPop Workshop and their current work, “Radiant Echoes”!

Friday, June 19th and 26th
Performances at approx. 7:15pm and 9:15pm


Located at the north end between the Uline Warehouse and T-Mobile Stages, Radiant Echoes will be available during all three weekends of the festival and is included FREE with admission. This year’s installation is a monument of sound and light created by community. Visitors will enter a space of towering megaliths and otherworldly flora; an ancient stone circle from another dimension, where they can harness the power of light and music.
