Wild Space Dance Company’s InSite program returns for its fifth season with En Route, a FREE immersive dance experience at Pulaski Park. Wander through this vibrant urban greenspace and encounter original dances created specifically for the site. Inspired by the restored Kinnickinnic River and the park’s scenic vistas, En Route explores connections between people, nature, and public space. Featuring guest artists from across Milwaukee, including Ghanaian dancer and storyteller Ishmael Konney, this unique event invites audiences to discover dance in unexpected places and uncover hidden stories within the landscape.

Looking for something fun to do today?! Our friends over at the Out There Series are presenting, “SWANS” at the beautiful Veterans Park Lagoon and you might see some familiar faces!

The performance will feature dancers and musicians aboard six of the lagoon’s SWAN BOATS, moving in choreographed formations along the water.

Swans kicks off at 2 p.m. and is free to the public. Go check it out!

Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime performance as Hay Rake Ballet merges with an active Wisconsin hay harvest!

Make Hay While the Sun Shines features the world premiere of Hay Rake Ballet, with an opening performance by Wild Space Dance Company. Rooted in the fertile space between culture and agriculture, this one-time event, where choreographed farm machinery, harvest rhythms, and live music converge, invites audiences to celebrate the harvest and our enduring connections to the land!

Wow, what an incredible opening weekend! You have two more chances to catch us performing at Summerfest, this Friday at 7:15pm and 9:15pm! We are excited to be back in collaboration with the incredible FuzzPop Workshop and their current work, “Radiant Echoes”!

Located at the north end between the Uline Warehouse and T-Mobile Stages, Radiant Echoes will be available during all three weekends of the festival and is included FREE with admission. This year’s installation is a monument of sound and light created by community. Visitors will enter a space of towering megaliths and otherworldly flora; an ancient stone circle from another dimension, where they can harness the power of light and music.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated Wild Space’s 40th Birthday with us yesterday! From the performances to the games to the wonderful conversations, it was the best celebration we could have asked for.
