What’s a DanceCircus?

For many years, we’ve described our programs through our name, DanceCircus, as three rings of programs – original collaborative performances, eco-dance educational programs, and, community inspired projects.

Circus, however, is the ancient Roman word for circle.Our mission reflects the contemporary meaning of circle – an area of action or influence, by a group of people sharing interests revolving around a common heart-center.

DanceCircus dancers, artists and Board members thank you for being part of our circle of influence, as audience members, freshwater flash dancers, youth choreographers, and eco-concerned educators. And, we thank you for sharing our interest in community journeys and celebrations in our original performances.
