Rook my senior thesis from UWM is finally available to watch on my Youtube after 9 long years

You can definitely tell its a student film, I decided to post it because I've recently revisited Rook, the Tesla Knight in a music video I did for Immortal Girlfriend, coming out very soon! Im very excited for the music video and it really shows the progress my fellow filmmakers and I have made in the past 9 years.

Tmj4 did a story on us and for the interview we had Sam Catania (coil builder) walk in lightning for the first time in a chainmail suit. Here's an awesome shot they got of him touching lightning. In his right hand he's actually holding a fluorescent lightbulb which is lighting up from the radiant energy emitted by the coil.

We've made a second offering to sleep!
Around the same time we covered the summoning, we covered the incredible vocal runs in chokehold. Sleep token is still one of our favorite bands to play on the coils, they match overall tone and timbre of sleep token really well.

Note: This is real lightning and we are able to change the frequency of when the lightning arcs to create different pitches. The lightning is making the music! We added the original track to fill out the overall sound.

Custom tesla coil stands featuring real neon I made for a live show with and . The Rods are neon glass tubes and the energy from the coil excites the neon causing them to light up. The wires attached to the bottom of them are only attached to earth ground. What's cool is as the coil played the neon would flash.

On Friday January 19th, 2024 I had the pleasure of presenting a live show featuring Milwaukee's own, Immortal Girlfriend and Brooklyn's Starcadian featuring the Tesla coils of Sam Catania's Musx and my business Tesla Knight Productions. The show was incredible we had around 350 people in attendance at Jason and Alex's venue the Dresden Castle. After months of hard work and learning a bunch of skills to make it happen we successfully put on a full concert with live lightning backing up the artists whom had the opportunity to write all the musical parts the coils played during their sets. I really need to thank the team that helped made it happen starting with my girlfriend Faith Finfrock who not only photographed the show but also helped produce the show. Jason and Alex Phillips, as well as the entire staff at Dresden castle. My dad Mark Bissen and my friend Markus Schneider who came in clutch to tackle Audio and setup. Xavier Schaetzke and Phil Brylow for Shooting video. The legendary Kevin and Will Bush of Immortal Girlfriend as well as the coolest dude Starcadian. Last but not least Sam Catania for all his lightning expertise with the Tesla coils. I'm incredibly, incredibly grateful for all the people who came together to make an incredibly unique and rare event like this happen.
