Playback Milwaukee Theatre Company In Playback an audience member tells a true-life story and then watches it brought to life by Playback players who re-enact the story on the spot.

Playback Milwaukee Theatre is an improvisational theatre company. Playback Milwaukee produces performances and group processes in collaboration with community organizations and schools to create spaces to remember, share, and celebrate our personal and collective histories. Playback Milwaukee conducts residencies and ongoing group process facilitation for organizations, institutions, and schools.

We also host monthly “Playshops” open to the public to come learn Playback! Your memories come to life before your eyes through improv word, movement, music... and magic!
