It’s official: we are now pouring a true taste of the Heartland with the arrival of the Piggly Wiggly Midwest IPA, expertly crafted right down the road by 3 Sheeps Brewing Company. We are especially excited to debut this brew as we toast to our fantastic neighbors right down the street at the Bay View Piggly Wiggly, who just unveiled their massive, beautiful store remodeling. This special beer is the perfect way to celebrate their fresh new look while honoring deep local roots, paying tribute to a legendary supermarket name that completely revolutionized American life when it opened the nation's very first self-service grocery store back in 1916. For generations, "The Pig" has been an anchor of our community, and this crisp, clean IPA honors that heritage with a perfect balance of smooth malt and bright, refreshing hops. No tournaments or delayed openings today! We are open normal hours all day and all night for total open bowling availability. Bring the whole family down early to log some games, or bring your friends down late for a night out.

Tomorrow, Saturday, starting exactly at 8:00 PM, we are turning off the perfectly good overhead lights because apparently, regular illumination is just too sensible. Instead, we’re unleashing The Laser-Pocalypse. We are covering the lanes in red and green laser light confetti, the bar and lane lights will match, and the rest of the place will be pitch black. Personally, it looks like a Christmas tree exploded on my approaches, and I'm pretty sure we’re violating every "do not stare directly into beam" warning label ever printed, but Justin says it's "an experience." You’ll just have to aim by pure muscle memory and good luck. It’s $10 an hour per person for the first hour, which includes the shoes you’re legally required to wear, and $8 for each additional hour of unlimited bowling if you think your retinas can take it. Come on down, ignore the product safety disclosures, and try not to trip over the ball return in the dark.
