MiSA is excited to announce the Opening Reception for Community Practices III!

This exhibition features all of the artists of our community. It is a A celebration of creativity, curiosity, and community at Mitchell Street Arts.

Explore mosaics, water marbling, printmaking, photography, pottery, painting, and more — Community Practices III showcases the vibrant work of MiSA’s students, teachers, and community members. Every piece tells a story shaped by shared space, hands-on learning, and the joy of making.

This exhibition reflects the heart of our mission: to provide accessible, welcoming, and inspiring opportunities for creative growth. All our classes are free or pay-what-you-can, with supplies included — because everyone deserves a chance to create. Come grab a coffee and a pan dulce at and meet your artistic neighbors!

Unleash your creativity in our drawing party workshop! In this pay-what-you-can class (suggested donation: $20) class, artist in residence Sterling Tian will be facilitating fun exercises and games to master the art of drawing from everyday life. This workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned artists alike. This engaging session promises to spark inspiration and make learning a blast! Registration required to attend. **NEW CLASS**

MiSA is excited to announce that we will be now be offering crochet classes alternating Wednesday and Tuesday evenings, beginning June 2nd!

In this Pay-What-You Can workshop (Suggested Donation: $20) Bri Ballog and Kelly Hicks are here to teach you a crochet pattern using single/double/half double/triple crochets and more! All levels are welcome, even if you have never crocheted before. We will help you learn any techniques needed, and have printed guides if that helps you more! Already attended one of our crotchet classes? Pick up where you left off, and get feedback from your instructors and peers.
