Up-Down turns 8 this weekend, so we’re celebrating accordingly.

Friday, August 28 starts with 8¢ beer at 6pm while supplies last, followed by our Eighth Birthday Party at 8pm with cake, a piñata for adults, and other highly responsible birthday activities.

Saturday, August 29 we’re keeping it going with a Y2K Countdown Party from 6pm to close. Two nights, one birthday, absolutely no need to act our age.

We’re looking for local organizations to support through future Coins for a Cause fundraisers.

Here’s how it works: we pick a local nonprofit, school program, animal rescue, mutual aid group, arts organization, or community cause, then donate 100% of token sales during the event window to that group. The organization just helps spread the word, invites their supporters, and we handle the event here at Up-Down.
