Nezumi Con is a Milwaukee based Anime Convention, founded in 2011 by the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design's resident Anime enthusiasts. Nezumi Con is also active in the local creative community, holding small events, as well as participating in 2013's MSOE's"Concinitty", Rocabilly Girl Production's Horror-O-Rama, and publishing monthly articles on it's Tumblr page, Nezumi Con. One ongoing operation of Nezumi Con is Operation: Cosplay Bodies! In this group, we and our fans share our secrets to obtaining our perfect cosplay bodies. Tips relating to exercise, diet, lifestyle, and self esteem are shared, and we encourage all to join our conversation! Whether you strive to be as large as Alex Louis Armstrong, or as lithe as Motoko Kusanagi, Operation: Cosplay Bodies is the place to start. Nezumi Con's mascot, Mimi the River Rat, is an ever changing being, transforming herself according to whatever the theme is of the event she is attending. In the past, Mimi was a space traveler, an art student, and a friend of the Doctor! Like Mimi, Nezumi Con wishes to transform into a better version of itself one day, to spread our love for anime and all things geekery!
