Today we remember the lives forever changed by the events of 9/11 and the extraordinary acts of kindness that emerged in the days that followed.
Last fall, our audiences experienced one such story of kindness in “Come From Away,” a musical about the thousands of passengers stranded in Gander, Newfoundland and the community that welcomed them with open arms. We were honored to be one of the first theaters in the country, following its Broadway run and National Tour, to bring this powerful story to Milwaukee.
Now, “Come From Away” is making its way to regional theaters across the country, inspiring new audiences with its message of compassion, community and connection.
Take a closer look at the real story and people behind this hit musical in this reel from the New York Times.
