Olympic Training Site located in the heart of Southeastern Wisconsin. One of only a handful of indoor ovals in the world, the 3,000-seat Center houses a 400-meter indoor speed skating oval and two international-sized ice rinks used for hockey, figure skating, short track speed skating, wheelchair hockey, field trips and other ice sports. EVERYONE and ANYONE has the opportunity to take advantage of

DUAL-SPORT SPEED SKATING CAMP

You’ve built your skills on wheels. Now see what they can do on ice.

Join Jilleanne Rookard, 2x U.S. Olympian and 4x Inline Speed Skating World Team Member, for a two-day camp designed specifically for inline skaters interested in exploring long-track speed skating on ice.

Explore how the skills you’ve developed through inline skating can translate to the ice, experience the Pettit Oval, and discover what’s possible when you develop across two surfaces.

Whether skaters are taking their first steps on the ice or sharpening their skills, Skating School at the Pettit is where every skater can learn, grow, and belong. Because some of the best lessons happen beyond the classroom.

Irish Dance Takes Over the Pettit!

The Pettit National Ice Center is proud to welcome back two exciting Irish dance competitions this weekend!

Saturday, July 18 – Badger State Feis
Sunday, July 19 – McNamara McCarthy Christmas in July Feis

We look forward to welcoming dancers, families, & spectators for the weekend celebrating tradition, athleticism, & competition.

The Pettit has Public Skating today from 11:15am-1:15pm on a inner rink, so bring your family and friends and enjoy some activity while the weather outside is less than ideal for outdoor activity. Also, the run-walk track is open from 6a-7p for all those looking to get their run or walk in today.
