I’ve just finished and varnished this. It has been a bit of an experiment. Trying different media and techniques. It has taken me weeks as my hands are not great and go numb after a few minutes of painting. It does serve as therapy though so I press on. Being a fantasy painting allows me to use my artistic license to its full extent. Meaning it doesn’t have to look realistic. It isn’t real. No one can tell me I haven’t painted the dragon right as I made him up in my head. Anyway, I’m glad it is finished now. I repainted it quite a few times. Added a bit of sparkle too. 🤣

I like this frame. I think it compliments the painting. Now to think of something else to paint.

I am thinking this might be finished. I don’t want to keep fiddling with it as I could over work it. It is my take on our Daisy watching the birds through the window. I used my artistic license to put a British Robin in the tree as they are cute. I will look at it in a day or two in case something is wrong. 💜

I haven’t painted for months. It has been a difficult time. Well, it still is actually. But a couple of weeks ago I picked up my brush and started a picture. I needed to paint. It is my therapy. I didn’t know what I was going to do as inspiration was a bit thin on the ground. So, I just painted. I lost myself in it and my mind just seemed to settle down. I’m pretty sure it’s finished. I don’t want to fiddle with it anymore as I could over work it. I haven’t given it a title yet. 💜

I think I have finally finished this. I haven’t signed it yet, so I could still fiddle with it. My rule is, never touch a painting after I’ve signed it. I hope to varnish it in a couple of days. Just have to try to leave it alone. 🤣🤣🤣

This has taken a while as my hand was playing up. It gave me something to do though. It is bigger than I’ve been doing lately 12in x 16in, but it isn’t too bad, if you squint a bit. 🤣🤣🤣
