I’ll be popping up all around Wisconsin this month, live painting, from Wauwatosa Village Tosa Fest and the Madison Night Market to Visit West Bend’s West Bend Farmers Market, Milwaukee Makers Market, and Pet Days ZÓCALO!

✨ June Pop-Ups & Live Painting Events ✨

I am SO, SO excited for this month's lineup of live painting events and pop-ups! Every month I get to paint in new places, meet incredible people, and create little keepsakes and memories through art... and this month feels especially surreal.

If you would've told 16-year-old Cayla that one day she'd be painting at Summerfest, she probably would've either screamed or passed out. 😂 Maybe both.

As someone who grew up going to Summerfest, the thought that my artwork will be there this year honestly feels like one of those full-circle moments that doesn't quite feel real yet.

There’s something so special about getting to paint memories like these 🤍

This piece was commissioned as a Mother’s Day gift from an old childhood photo, and the entire process felt like stepping back into the early 2000s for a little while… the flash photography, layered shirts, uncontrollable laughter, all of it.

It reminded me how important these little moments become over time, and how often moms are the ones preserving them for us in the first place.

Feeling really grateful to spend this week creating paintings filled with so much love, nostalgia & family history!

Commissioned by a brother, each one thoughtfully made for the people who he meant the most to… a piece for his wife, one for their parents, and one for the brother and his partner.

Such a beautiful way to honor his life… through the love he shared, the relationships he built, and the memories that continue to live on through the people closest to him!
