I always have a reason why..... Intentions are everything to me!
When I create something, offer something, or begin walking down a new path, there is always something much deeper underneath it. My Ancestral Imprint readings are no different.
This work was born out of my own healing journey, especially through the relationship and wounds I carried with particular people in my life. For a long time, I didn’t fully understand why I responded to certain things the way I did, why certain patterns kept showing up in my relationships, or why I carried certain emotional responses that seemed bigger than the moment itself.
As I began doing my own healing, I started recognizing the subconscious undercurrents beneath so many parts of who I am. The things I learned to protect myself with. The ways I learned to communicate, or not communicate. The beliefs I absorbed. The patterns that were passed down through family, sometimes without anyone ever consciously choosing them.
And this is where my work with ancestral imprints really began to take shape.I became fascinated by the question......What are we carrying that we never consciously chose? Or what has been passed down generation to generation that needs an ending or put to a close.
Not because our past determines our future, but because understanding what lives beneath the surface can give us a choice about what we do with it. And what's in the dark.... Can come to the light.
Motherhood has made this even more profound for me, becoming a mother has given me the opportunity to look at my own childhood and my own imprints through an entirely different lens. When I understand where my reactions come from, I have a greater ability to pause before passing them forward. When I understand what my nervous system learned, I can become more intentional about what I teach my daughter ( I'm still learning) And when I understand her energetic and astrological blueprint, I can meet her where she actually is instead of expecting her to experience the world the way I do. I have learned to communicate with her differently.
That has been one of the greatest gifts of this work for me. It isn't about finding something “wrong” with ourselves or blaming our parents for everything we struggle with. It's about compassion and understanding what was passed down to our parents. It's about being willing to look beneath the surface and ask, “Where did this come from?” or what worldly events impacted the lens of relationships or even how to live.
Some of these imprints may be conscious. Many may not be. Astrology, Human Design, numerology and ancestral exploration can offer another language for understanding the patterns, gifts, defenses, tendencies, and relational dynamics we may have inherited or developed throughout our lives.
And ultimately, this work isn't about staying stuck in the past. It's about bringing what was unconscious into consciousness so we can move forward and create a new foundation with understanding.
sometimes, once we understand it, we can finally choose something different. Things just start to click!
