Are you looking to burst onto the Drag King scene? Now’s your chance! MKE Royals have a few spots open for their up coming Pridefest show on Friday, June 6th at 3:15pm (call time is 2:15pm). This is a paid performance for approximately $75-100 per act.

Performance/costume must be appropriate for Pridefest stage. Video submissions do not have to be of finished act/costume - in progress costumes and video taken at home are acceptable.

Please know if the video(s) you submit is/are not selected, this is not a reflection on your talent. We will be looking at the range of acts submitted to create a show with variety.

Submissions will be accepted until Wednesday, April 30th. Any applications sent after this date will not be considered. Submissions must be of act(s) you are intending on performing.

Please include the following with your submission:

Stage name
Stage Pronouns (how you want us to refer to you via social media promos and when introducing you on stage)
Government name (for purposes of paying performers and background checks only)
Performer Bio
Video of Act/Acts (YouTube link, Google Drive link, etc is okay if file is too large for email)
Song (MP3 format)
Stage Manager Notes (props, stage setup for act, any cleanup after performance, etc

WE DID IT! To everyone who came out to our show, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and jockstraps 🖤 Stay on the Pride grounds, because there are two more opportunities to catch drag kings and so much local entertainment ! Tonight is the Hue R***e show (ScorpiErotic and Noel the Gentleman you’ll recognize as MKE Royals alum). And tomorrow night, see more of our prop panther Leo Long and a packed drag king cast at Miltown’s 20th anniversary show ✨

For anyone who may not know, Nick is the founder of MKE Royals and he was recently in a car accident that totaled his vehicle and fractured many of his bones. It is a miracle he is still with us 🖤 His family and friends have been with him through his recovery and he is adamant in continuing to be involved in our upcoming show. If you’re in the audience for our Skyyline show next week, give him an extra loud cheer. He has something cheeky planned for you all 💋
