The enthusiastic audience was thoroughly dazzled and deeply appreciative, as we raised a significant amount of money for the Asian Community Fund at the Boston Foundation.

Our concert this Saturday, "Celebrating Asian Composers and Performers: An AAPI Concert" is free admission, but we will be collecting donations for the The Asian Community Fund (ACF) at the Boston Foundation. This is the first and only philanthropic fund in Massachusetts dedicated to activating, convening, and supporting the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. Launched in 2020, ACF is a permanent resource designed to galvanize and unite the diverse ethnicities within the AAPI community, incubate new partnerships, and build a stronger advocacy voice.

We hope you will be there and that you will donate as generously as you are able.

"Tonight, tonight,
The world is full of light,
With suns and moons all over the place.
Tonight, tonight,
The world is wild and bright,
Going mad, shooting sparks into space.

Today, the world was just an address,
A place for me to live in,
No better than all right,
But here you are
And what was just a world is a star
Tonight!"

We hope to see you TONIGHT!

One of the songs included on Saturday's concert will be "Will He Like Me?" from the Musical She Loves Me. Representative of the questions we can ask ourselves when preparing for a date and those butterflies we feel. The singer asks:

"Will he like me? I don't know
All I know is that I'm tempted not to go
It's insanity for me to worry so
I'll try not to
Will he like me?
He's just got to
Will he like me?
Will he like me?"

Come to First Parish in Milton on Saturday at 7pm to find out the answer!
