Hey beautiful friends! 🫶

My name is Melissa. I’ve been doing hair for 20 years. You’ll notice me pop on and off socials sometimes for months at a time because part of my brain is a young millennial who is tech savvy and loves the extra artistic expression but my entire brain is ADHD. So, ya know, squirrel.

I specialize in dimensional color, grey blending, blonding and vivids. I love getting to bring your hair to life and give you a whole new wave of confidence and level of self love.

I’m a nurturer at heart. I love spending time with you, getting to know you, supporting and encouraging you to reach for what is the most fulfilling, in life and hair. Three words to describe me are authentic, warm and colorful. My goal is to have you loving yourself and your hair more when you leave my chair. ❤️

If I hadn’t been a hairstylist, I’d have either been a counselor or a teacher. In school I got a lot of “a pleasure to have in class” and “talks too much”, both have led to a successful career on my chosen path and I’m so grateful for that choice every day.

In my time away from the salon, you can find me tending to my houseplants, painting, using my house as a never ending art project and spending time with my family. We love gaming, spending time in nature and generally being silly.

Vivids can look like a lot of things, including black (doesn’t exactly feel vivid, am I right?) Using regular black hair color can be scary, limiting your future options. And not everyone wants to do that!

This was our first foray into color in a long time, and with the dream being black to red, vivids was the route we chose to be sure she has her best and most flexible options in the future. 😍

It’s a universal feeling: the dread of needing to find a new stylist.

It can be so scary! I totally get it. Maybe your stylist moved, or doesn’t do “that kind” of hair color, or maybe you simply just don’t vibe with each other. There’s so many reasons to find a new stylist.

It doesn’t have to be so scary.

Between appointments, hair fades. It just does. But fading hair can still look amazing with ✨dimension✨.

For vivids, adding in variations of the colors we are focusing on makes a huge difference in how the color visually translates and gives a lot of added life to your color. It’s equally important for the more subtle tones of blondes and brunettes, just not as recognizable to the eye.

There is one word to describe why that happens and it’s dimension.

Dimension is what makes curls look defined.

Dimension actually hides frizz.

Dimension looks and feels modern and sexy.
