Ray Randall always found a way to make you smile.

His infectious laughter and relentlessly positive attitude filled our theatre ministry with so much joy.

Ray served in so many ways. As an actor, he played roles big and small. As a crew member, he did so much unseen service. When he wasn't directly involved, he showed himself to be the biggest fan in the audience. Ray was quick to help in Meadowbrook Christian School's productions, where he also coached athletics.

We'll always remember the way he'd give an encouraging word or cracked a silly joke to performers as they got their mics on, helped actors defuse their nerves while waiting in the wings, or took the time to share a story when there was downtime.

Above all, we'll always remember the way that Ray exuded the love of Christ.

Please keep the Randall family in your prayers as they mourn the passing of Ray. The world is a little less bright without Ray in it, but we know we'll see him again.

Kahlie DeHotman is the first guest director we have worked with at Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions — directing our 2025 production of The Play That Goes Wrong. Kahlie is a Messiah University graduate and has studied theatre abroad in London. She has worked in many local theatres -- recently in Blithe Spirit (CTL), Miracle on 34th Street (CTL), A Few Good Men (CTL), and Much Ado About Nothing (Gaspipe). She also recently directed Cheaper by the Dozen (CTL), Noises Off (CTL), and The Glass Menagerie (Studio 570). Kahlie loves Halloween and being a cat mom with her husband Billy Martel.

Ready to ace your audition? Brent is ready to help you take your vocals to the next level!

Brent attends Christ Wesleyan and is their Creative Director of Communications/Broadcast. He has done multiple shows with CWTP. Brent was the Beast for Evermore in Enchanted Evening, Maui & the Prince for Enchanted Evening, Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Statue in Mary Poppins: The Broadway Musical, Philip Lombard in And ThenThere Were None, Thomas Andrews in Titanic the Musical and Harry Monday in If It’s Monday, This Must Be Murder!, Jacob Marley in A Christmas Carol, and he also performed as Simon Stride in Jekyll & Hide at RiverStage Theatre.

Brent studied vocal performance in college and has taught private voice lessons for 18 years. In 2011, Brent was a contestant on Season 9 of American Idol. His favorite thing to do is anything involving the fine arts.
