We are 4th & 5th generation beadwork artists from the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe & the Nooksack Indian Tribe. The Evagreen Indigiqueen: Alex (she/her/hers)
I identify as a pansexual citizen of the Nooksack Nation to highlight my indigenity's both political and cultural aspects like Dr. Adriene Keen does. My beading indigenizes cannabis paraphenilia and continues the med
icine of beadwork. My mother, a member of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, started beading at the age of five and passed those traditions Cuyya taught her to me in my teens. I want to take up space with my creations add indigenous flair to accessories of all kinds. Sourcing responsibly is another important aspect of my business. I upcycle old jewelry people have given me or items I've thrift into materials for new pieces. Some places I course my beads from also donate directly to differentanimals in need! I have even upcycled leather from old couch swatches into leather fringe for a cane. I strive to indigenize it one bead at a time! Starting with cannabis paraphernalia! In addition to beaded earrings, necklaces, bracelets, back scratchers, key chains, and pens I bead dab sticks, roach clips, and lighters. This boujee native loves to sparkle and through mainly pe**te stitch I can help everyone sparkle. Whether you're Native Bling is a dab stick or earrings this Eva Green Indigiqueen can bead something for you!
