Spring vibes on a November morning.

Large and extras large dog collars are some of my most expensive handwoven items, but this design sold out before i could even get it up on the website!
They're expensive because I can only get two collars from one warp on my loom, and weaving at 1 inch takes a little more effort than narrower widths. It's the largest I feel safe weaving on my loom. My loom is handmade and has a few flaws in it that make it hard to maintain even tension across a wide width. Even without those flaws, inkle looms tend to bend in under tension because they're only supported on one side. They're just not made for wide weaving.
Of course, they're also expensive because I am very picky about the hardware I use for dog collars and cat collars. These are objects that a pet's life may depend on at some point. I will absolutely not allow my product to fail at that moment! I make pet accessories because I have pets of my own that I have been able to test my products on well before I started Roving Cat, so I stand by my quality.
