We are answering a call from the LORD to establish a resting place for HIM to meet and dwell with HIS people. A garden and worship center where people can express their adoration and praise and worship the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Where people are saved, healed and delivered. The Lord actually promised this land to us 7 years ago and delivered on his promise through nothing short of a miracle. This location is in a very special place. Archeologists date settlements on this property back to the Archaic period, older than 1000 BC. The land is privately owned and maintained. Finally, we have a place we can declare HIS living word over our community, region, country and planet. The LORD has proven HIS faithfulness, once again! Awaken2Worship finally gives us an opportunity to fulfill a calling God placed on my life 25 years ago, to establish a location where people can come and declare and decree HIS word, out loud, over the community, region and nation. Now, with relationships with worshipers from many churches and across denominations, we have already begun "Harp and Bowl" style worship services and we have had numerous powerful meetings together and with the LORD of Hosts. Currently, we set up our sound equipment, tables and chairs in an uncovered parking lot in the sun and dodge rain. We need shelter, benches, electrical connections and suitable public outhouses. Our location forms a natural amphitheater such that the music has an amazing quality of presence. It has privacy areas, small trails, a small spring, old growth trees and a beautiful rolling grassy landscape. I have already secured grating, as you can see from the picture, and prepared a place for the structures which we are now in need of acquiring. Timing is imperative, as we are presently actively looking for solutions for a covering and seating. Funding is critical. Please search your heart and contribute whatever you can to bring Awaken2Worship into completion, providing a local Christ centered worship center for Western North Carolina and visitors located in the community of Mills River, NC.
