Great arts and crafts show in Waynesville, NC next weekend, August 10th and 11th. Blue Ridge Heritage Weekend at the Shelton House, 250 Pigeon Street. 9 until 4 Saturday and 11 until 4 Sunday. This house is a small museum of Mountain Crafts and Antiques. Well worth supporting.
And yes, I will be there with a great selection of folk and art pottery.

The Southern Highland Craft Guild is the oldest guild in American and its Allanstand Craft Shop the oldest continually operating craft shop in the country. I will be demonstrating Thursday through Sunday August 1st through the 4th in the lobby. New cut out works and cameo decorated pottery.

I will be back at the Folk Art Center just off the Parkway in Asheville this Thursday through Sunday - May 30 - June 2. Demonstration will be the pate-sur-pate or cameo technique used by Walter Stephen at Pisgah Forest Pottery. I have not done this style since that pottery closed in 2014. Photos are of older pieces I have done.
