North Light Gallery is in today's Maine Studio and Gallery Guide, called Cafe des Artistes, announcing our rebirth as a gallery in Maine. So happy to be a part of this great publication, though our ad will not appear until next season.

The Penobscot Marine Museum has now acquired this painting as part of their permanent collection! The curators felt that the painting "Shows how our museum is at the heart of the Searsport community in times of celebration. It helps tell the story of why we are an important part of our community." The buildings in the painting are all part of the museum. It is well worth a visit. It's a fascinating place to learn about local maritime history. I am going to admit that I'm feeling kind of proud. And excited.
