đ„ We truly are honored each year to have so many talented arts and crafts vendors setup at the Shelby Forest Spring Fest and the Aquasteli Bluegrass Festival! (Please read below)
Over the years, I have noticed one thing that truly makes a festival special is the arts & crafts vendors. These folks arenât just setting up a boothâtheyâre bringing creativity, passion, and a whole lot of hard work with them.
Every handmade item you see represents hours (and sometimes days) of effort. From woodworking and painting to jewelry, soaps, and home dĂ©cor, these vendors pour their heart into what they create. For many of them, this isnât just a hobbyâitâs a small business, a dream, and a way to support their families.
What a lot of people donât always realize is that vendors rely on festivals and events to make their living. They travel from place to place, setting up early, tearing down late, and doing it all over again the next weekend somewhere new. The more opportunities they have to set up and sell their goods, the better chance they have to succeed.
Thatâs why festivals matter so muchânot just for entertainment, but for supporting these talented individuals. When you shop with a vendor, youâre not just buying a productâyouâre supporting a person, their craft, and their livelihood.
So when you come out to a festival, take a little extra time to walk through the vendor booths, ask questions, and show them some love. It truly makes a difference.
