Meet the artists this Saturday!

Join us for an In Conversation with two of our featured painters, Joel Haynes and Talya Baharal on Saturday, August 22nd.

At 3pm we will start at the Main Gallery, 5916 N Elm Street with Muralist Joel Haynes in the Birds & Bees Exhibition.

At 4pm in The Space Between Words exhibition, artist Talya Baharal will talk about her works in the Mercantile Gallery at 3 Main Street.

A reception will follow.

Happy Accidents Large Scale Mural Painting with Joel Haynes!

We will create bold, large-scale paintings using house paint, exploring the exciting possibilities of working on a mural-like scale. A key focus of this class is embracing “happy accidents”unexpected moments that often lead to creative breakthroughs. By learning to let go of perfection and trust the process, you will discover new ways of seeing, experimenting, and expressing yourself. This valuable artistic mindset, being open to the unexpected, is a lesson that extends far beyond the classroom and can inspire creativity for a lifetime.

Joel Haynes is an accomplished Muralist and Painter, often traveling for large-scale painting projects across the nation.

July 31st and August 7th both days from 10:00am-1:00pm
