We are SO proud of everyone involved in our shows this year! A Fox on the Fairway and The Music Man had a few nominations and an honorable mention for this year's Apollo Awards- in our first year of participation. Congratulations to Aiden Whitfield for receiving the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play. The ceremony last evening was a wonderful way to celebrate theatre across central PA.

Today is your last chance to experience The Music Man magic! Performances are at 2:00 and 7:30. Online sales close 3 hours before showtime, but we always have seats open and sell tickets in the lobby also! Please bring cash, though.

And we would also love for you to vote for our People's Choice award by donating to these themed boxes, or sending a duck with a note to one of your in-duck-ted (or future) Thespians. You can also send a wooden rose- and we will deliver them backstage to their personalized bag. Even better delivery than the Wells Fargo Wagon!

Parking is available on the deck, or around the curve/ behind the gym. You will want to enter by the attendance office by the big PM in the photo.

Did you know this is the 4th production of The Music Man at PMHS? Here are some photos -for a blast from the past - 1974, 1994, 2011 - and now, 2026.

And a few fun facts!

-1974 Harold Hill (Greg) worked with 2011 Harold (Tim) - who worked with 2026 Harold (Aiden)

-Barbershop Quartet: Bill Kepner (1974) has a grandson, Evan, singing the same part in this year's show. And Greg Landis (1994) has a nephew (Ehren) doing the same!

-Becky (Kepner) Combs was a "little" in the 1994 production, and now her son, Brady, is one of the 2026 littles.

-We will have patriotic stickers at the Thespian table for any theatre alumni to wear proudly - and easily identify each other at the show. Please come say hello and get yours.

Music Man - Fun Facts

#1: Some of the costumes are being sewn using a vintage Singer sewing machine that actually was made in the same time period as this Musical...and by the way it sews great!

#2: We are grateful to the Craig Shyver Memorial Theatre Fund, administered through PMEF - which allowed us to purchase a steam closet for our costume room. Steam technology reduces odors that cling to shirts, jackets, shoes - saving a trip to the dry cleaners. (Theatre folks perspire a lot with all those layers of costumes, choreo, and bright lights - so we all appreciate any odor-reducing tactics we can manage!)

We absolutely love our theatre kids - but if you know, you know!

Shoutout to Keith and Brenda who help us maintain all of our theatre spaces!
