Experience Kinusaiga (kee-noo-sigh-gah), a traditional Japanese 'no-sew' art form that creates vibrant, textured mosaic images using craft knives, seam rippers and fabric scissors.

In this beginner-friendly workshop in our upstairs classroom, you'll learn the foundational skills of tucking fabric into grooves to create a finished heart-pattern piece to take home. While we'll all use the same base pattern, youโ€™ll personalize your art by choosing from a variety of fabric colors and patterns.

All you need to bring to class is your enthusiasm to learn and have fun!

She is one-half of the Bits of Serenity Jewelry mother-daughter duo, who specializes in chain maille and resin jewelry.In this beginner-friendly class, you will learn basic resin techniques to create your own custom, frozen world inside a beautiful pendant. Each handmade snowflake is completely unique, making it the perfect keepsake for yourself or a gift for someone special. All materials will be provided, including a variety of inclusions (inks, dyes, stickers, glitter, and sequins); however, you are welcome to bring your own add-ins. This class is open to ages 12 and up, though children as young as 8 are welcome if an accompanying adult is also registered.

Update from the MAAA: Riverfront Park 250th Commemorative Mural

As Ted begins Phase II of the America 250 mural project, we are pleased to share that all of the painting volunteers needed to complete the mural are lined up.

Even better, thanks to the public's generosity, a little more than half of the $4,000 goal has been raised!
