“CREATE YOUR OWN MASTERPIECE”…... In combining my love of people and my love of art, I offer a “Create your own Masterpiece” painting event whereby I instruct a group of friends or business associates in the step by step process to complete a painting in a 2 21/2 hour session. The environment is relaxed and social, designed to promote success, no painting experience needed. These events are hosted thursday evenings once or twice a month as announced…private bookings at your convenience also available. As a CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING event associates in addition to accomplishing an individual painting, associates also accomplish a group cooperative painting or series of paintings which will then hang in a common area within the workplace for all to admire. As an ART AGENT and thru my affiliation with local businesses and Long Island Art Associations… I am in part responsible for coordinating the display of Art throughout several venues, coordinating annual juried and membership shows, organizing instructional demonstrations with artists involved in a variety of mediums with information with respect to upcoming exhibit opportunities. When people move house, they make a hierarchy without realizing it.

Some things get donated, some get stored, some make the journey regardless of whether they make logical sense in the new space.

Art almost always travels. It is rarely the practical choice that moves with you. It is the things that meant something. Has that been true for you?

What have you moved more than once, and would "*Enlightenment Melissa Hin" make that list?

People sometimes feel they need to be able to articulate why they want a particular work before they are allowed to buy it. That is not how it works.

The attraction does not need a defense. You do not have to be able to explain *Solstice Birch - Melissa Hin to someone who asks; you just have to know it belongs in your space.

The explanation, if you want one, tends to arrive later on its own.

Every work that reaches a collector is the result of many decisions, including the decision not to show what came before it.

The finished work is not the whole story. It is the end of a longer, quieter process that most collectors never see.

When you live with Birch Trees, you are living with the result of the artistic process and all that comes with it.

Splendore Royal

Splendore Royal is a burst of raw emotion, exploding with vibrant reds, purples, and golds. I used acrylic and enamel to create texture that dances with energy and chaos. It’s a reflection of the inner whirlwind of passion and intensity we all carry, inviting viewers to feel alive and deeply connected. This artwork will infuse any space with dynamic movement and spirited vitality.

Interior designers often talk about sightlines. They're the natural path your eye travels when you enter or move through a room.

Most people never think about this consciously, but they feel it. Art placed directly in a sightline changes a room immediately.

Placement is as intentional as the work itself.

I think "Bouquet" could fit into a few different places. Where will you display it?

Bouquet / Abstract expressionism/Acrylic and enamel action painting
In this piece, I unleashed raw emotion through a whirlwind of acrylic and enamel, capturing chaos and energy in vibrant bursts. My intent was to evoke a sense of explosive life force, inviting viewers to feel the intensity and movement within. This painting will invigorate your space with its dynamic pulse, sparking creativity and passion wherever it's displayed.

A lot of people hold off on collecting art because they rent and feel uncertain about committing to walls they do not own. But art does not belong to a wall. It belongs to you.

Renting is not a reason to live with bare walls. It is a reason to collect work that matters enough to keep moving (and growing) with you.

"*Seascape IV - Melissa Hin" and my other work are connected to the people who love them, not just the places they're displayed.
