These group studio sessions are designed for both the beginner and experienced artist alike offering great art talk, critiquing, and individualized instruction as needed. In this setting the student experiences a great ‘Art Experience’ at an affordable rate. Classes are offered Monday Eve 6:30 - 8:30 pm , Tuesday Eve 6:30 - 8:30 pm, Wednesday 10 am - 12 pm , 1-3 pm, youth class 4-5:30 pm….. Privat

“CREATE YOUR OWN MASTERPIECE”…... In combining my love of people and my love of art, I offer a “Create your own Masterpiece” painting event whereby I instruct a group of friends or business associates in the step by step process to complete a painting in a 2 21/2 hour session. The environment is relaxed and social, designed to promote success, no painting experience needed. These events are hosted thursday evenings once or twice a month as announced…private bookings at your convenience also available. As a CORPORATE TEAM BUILDING event associates in addition to accomplishing an individual painting, associates also accomplish a group cooperative painting or series of paintings which will then hang in a common area within the workplace for all to admire. As an ART AGENT and thru my affiliation with local businesses and Long Island Art Associations… I am in part responsible for coordinating the display of Art throughout several venues, coordinating annual juried and membership shows, organizing instructional demonstrations with artists involved in a variety of mediums with information with respect to upcoming exhibit opportunities. Back-to-school season is not only for families with students. It changes the rhythm of entire communities.

* Grace / Melissa Hin

A pale sun hangs low over a snow-swept plain, turning the sky into bands of aquamarine and soft lemon. Tall, bare trees stand in two staggered rows, their skeletal branches drawn like fine filigree against the light. Long shadows stretch diagonally across the snow, creating a measured rhythm that guides the eye toward a mist-softened horizon.

The composition portrays a quiet meeting between emptiness and structure: open ground interrupted by vertical markers, and a distant belt of evergreens that anchors the scene. Delicate brushwork renders the branching detail and the subtle shifts of color in the sky, while smoother application in the foreground suggests packed snow warmed by pale sunlight. Cool blues give way to warm undertones near the sun, producing a gentle contrast that keeps the scene luminous rather than stark.

There is an austere calm here, less about drama than about measured space and quiet observation. The bare trunks, evenly spaced, feel like a deliberate cadence—each tree similar but slightly different, offering a study in repetition and variation. The atmosphere reads as early winter light or late afternoon thaw, a transient hour that invites slow attention rather than instant reaction.
