The Forearm Tattoo…

Everyone wants one but… you need to know it’s going to move. No matter where you place it, up, down, side to side your forearm is not like other places on the body

Depending how you are standing or moving it’ll look off at certain angles and views. This is 100% normal. We’ll work to place it the very best we can at your natural resting place or straight how you want it to be seen

Downsizing

What is it and why is it important?

When you are originally pierced you will have a longer bar placed to allow for initial swelling while your piercing is healing. In 6-8 weeks you’ll want to come back and have that bar DOWNSIZED. This is simply switching out the original bar for a shorter one!

Even if you’re not having any current issues, it’s important to complete this step. Having a longer bar in longer than necessary can lead to constant hitting it and movement you don’t want while your piercing continues to heal.

Possible outcomes are pain, swelling, irritation bumps, migration, and even rejection

This downsize will mean a snug secure fit of your jewelry which looks great and saves you future headache!

🫶🏼Love me some finger tats

Having said that… they are highhh maintenance. If you want them just know you almost certainly will need at least 1 touch up if not more

Multiple things affect this. The skin type;texture;hydration, the placement, almost constant movement, washing hands, aftercare, the tattoo itself, etc

I have one on the side of my finger, I’m on touch up 3 and one spot the ink just won’t stick

But man are they cute

🙅🏻‍♀️If I say you don’t have the right anatomy for something, trust me I don’t want to disappoint you or turn you away.

🫶🏼I DO want your piercing the heal well and for you to love it. Sometimes that means we need to figure out another idea you’ll love just as much.

🟰Wrong anatomy+pierced anyway= irritation•never healing•migration•rejection•infection

I’ve been told over and over by business owners and customers alike to leave on my tip screen but….

I want to puke every time the screen comes up. Sometimes I X out of it on purpose to avoid it

Obviously tips are beyond appreciated but never ever ever expected and just know it makes me cringe every time you leave one, deserved or not 🫣😅
