WE HAVE THE BEST GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS!!

Over the past two years, The Sunny View Clubhouse has had the privilege of serving as a source of relief, recovery, and hope for families in Sunny View and across Polk County.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, community members, partner organizations, and supporters, The Sunny View Clubhouse has made a meaningful impact from October 2024 through May 2026, including:

Multiple deliveries to hard hit areas and front lines
136 households with storm repair assistance
$125,000+ in repair support
6,000+ hot meals
1,550+ food boxes
2,203 individuals served
2,500+ gallons and bottles of water
60,000+ lbs of food
1,076 families with food assistance
80+ heaters
20+ wells tested
15+ driveway/grading repairs
15 firewood deliveries
15 home non-storm repair projects
5 households with essential appliances
3 well repair
2 septic clean outs
1 new well
1 property survey
countless loads of gravel
gallons of fuel
propane tanks

Multiple emergency housing supports:

Heaters
Generators
Clean water
Baby formula and diapers
Cleaning supplies
Sleeping bags
Fans and air conditioners
Propane vouchers
Firewood
Pet food
Over-the-counter medications
and more

Direct wildfire response assistance:

Feeding more than 5 fire departments
Delivering meals directly to front line firefighters, including:
216 sandwiches
425 biscuits
Additional hot meals and supplies
Delivering emergency supplies to fire departments

Supported 6 local self employed workers and small local businesses hiring them for all projects

While these numbers are significant, they only tell part of the story.

The Sunny View Clubhouse remains deeply committed to serving this community with compassion, dignity, and care. Through strong partnerships and continued community support, we are also preparing for the future by strengthening disaster preparedness efforts and working toward becoming a communication and relief hub for future emergencies in our rural area.

We are incredibly grateful to every volunteer, donor, organization, and supporter who has walked alongside us in this work. Your support has helped create lasting impact across our community.

We are currently in the process of working with Faith360 Disaster and Recovery to be set up to be a communication and relief hub for the next disaster. We pray one does not happen again but will be prepared if so!
