We’re thrilled to announce the Opening Night Film for this year’s Black Bear Film Festival in beautiful Milford, Pennsylvania!
🌟 Friday, October 9th at 7:30 PM 🌟
This year, we’re kicking off the festival with the wonderfully fun indie film The Floaters — a film that is especially close to home because it was filmed right here in our own backyard, along the river!
And the cast is one you won’t want to miss! The Floaters features an exciting lineup, including Seth Green, Steve Guttenberg, Jackie Tohn, and many more talented up-and-coming actors.
There’s something special about seeing our beautiful landscape up on the big screen! Come see it as a backdrop for a great story! You will not want to miss it!
With its fun, warm, and heartfelt story, The Floaters is a wonderful film to enjoy with family, friends, and fellow film lovers.

🐻🎬 Bears in Hot Tubs is heading to the Black Bear Film Festival in Milford, Pennsylvania!

We’ll be screening as part of the aturday Showcase at Café Wren on October 10 and admission is FREE.

We are excited to announce that Scott Schiaffo from the movie Clerks will be joining us at film festival this year! 🎥🐻

A VERY SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT! 🐻🎬
We are beyond excited to announce that renown actor William Sadler will be joining us at this year’s Black Bear Film Festival! 🎥🐻

With a career spanning decades, William Sadler has brought some unforgettable characters to the screen. Fans will know him from The Shawshank Redemption, Die Hard 2, and, of course, the unforgettable Grim Reaper in Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey and Bill & Ted Face the Music.

His impressive film credits also include The Green Mile, The Mist, and Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight. We will be showing the classic Demon Knight at Log Tavern Milford on Saturday October 10th along with many more amazing new films throughout town!

Main Stage schedule at Milford Theater coming out soon!!! We are working hard to get it to you! So stay tuned! You will not want to miss this event!

Calling all ball players! The Columns Colossals will once again play the Milford Boroughs in a softball game complete with organ music, announcers etc. Hot dogs and refreshments provided courtesy of PCHS. Sponsors welcome!
