Although I’ve been talking about this for a couple of months, today I officially announced the closing of my wonderful studio which has brought me such joy and pleasure for the last 8 years. Not only was it a beautiful space to create, it also afforded me wonderful connections with the community and students. But, no worries, I just moved a few doors down Main Street, so I’m still here, just over there a bit.
Opening Painted River Art Studio in April 2016 was a wonderful opportunity for me to create and grow as an artist as well as share my knowledge with students eager to learn and grow as artists. Five years ago, I welcomed Kate Albert to joined me in sharing this creative space. It has been a wonderful partnership with our unique views blending together to add a new dimension to the studio.
With ever changing personal commitments and financial challenges, I have decided to take a side step and let Kate take the lead. I am thrilled to be moving my studio and gallery into this new adventure at Albert Art Collective, just a few doors from the old location at 126 Main Street. This new space gives us both added gallery space as well as adding new artisans in functional art.
I do plan to start classes again when my schedule is a little clearer. I know I am looking forward to getting back to it just as much as my students!
We are open with limited hours leading up to our Grand Opening on Friday, May 1, 2026. I will be raffling off a wonderfully framed print of the Roebling Bridge on May 2. There is plenty of time to come in an enter the drawing, it is free to enter!
So, with bitter sweet feelings I say, Adieu, adieu, adieu to Painted River Art Studio.
Please continue to follow me and Kate. Check out Albert Art Collective and start following us there, so you don’t miss anything! Nancy Achberger Fine Art, Kate Albert Art, City of Milford, OH, Marvelous Milford, Milford OH Neighborhood Group
