One of my personal all-time favorite photos of downtown Miles City, Montana. ❤️ Taken this past May during the Bucking Horse Sale, when our little town was buzzing with energy, visitors, rank horses, and plenty of Montana spirit.

Feeling so lucky to live in this little town alongside the Yellowstone River. 💙 There’s something pretty special about the beauty and peacefulness around us and knowing this is home. It’s a privilege I’m grateful for and acknowledge every single day.

Major changes are happening behind Steadman’s Ace Hardware, west of Haynes Avenue! The Last Chance Subdivision already has several buildings going up, and things are moving quickly.
Over by the college, Diamond J Companies is clearing land for a new apartment complex.
It’s exciting to see development and projects that will provide new homes and housing opportunities for Miles City residents.

The Florence Stacy Memorial Fountain stands as a lasting tribute to 20-year-old Florence Stacy, who died in 1913. For more than a century, the fountain has been part of Miles City history, honoring her memory and the Stacy family’s gift of land that became part of Wibaux Park.
Now restored and relocated, much of the fountain’s original marble and internal structure has been preserved. More than a century later, it continues to tell a story of love, remembrance, and a promise to preserve a piece of Miles City history for generations to come.
