Please join us for our Spring Event, a Masquerade Ball on Friday, May 1. For the ball, gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, and ladies are welcome to wear long gowns, while still adhering to the dress guidelines. Add a fun mask to your outfit, while still remembering that you will be dancing! (You may take your mask off, of course.)

In case you aren't familiar with our DNA program, here is a summary. This dance program is intended to provide young ladies and gentlemen with an opportunity to go beyond the ordinary – and relate to one another in an enjoyable atmosphere while learning/practicing the skill of ballroom dance.

DNA signups will be through the Alpha website, Alpha Theatre - DNA. Dancers will only sign up for one night at a time. Cost is $15 per night, payable through PayPal on the website. Signups are limited to 30 ladies and 30 gentlemen, ages 13 and up.

Couples are also welcome to sign up, using the same website, but will not take dance cards.

If you have signed up and find out you cannot attend, please notify us at [email protected] as soon as possible. Refunds are not guaranteed, but may be possible if the slot is filled.

DNA Location: Grace Bible Church, 1200 Coalfield Road, Midlothian.

Schedule for the evening:

6:15pm Arrival and Check-in.

6:30-7:15pm Dance instruction.
All dancers are welcome to attend the instruction time, especially to learn from our professional instructor. But experienced dancers may arrive at 7:15pm if they like.

7:15pm Dance cards filled in to schedule dances for the evening.

7:30-10:00pm Various dances. After 2 or 3 dances with partners assigned by the dance cards, there will be a “free” dance or special dance such as “Brother-Sister” or “Ladies’ Choice.”

Snacks will be offered at one point in the evening, during a period of 6-8 “free” dances.

We are pleased to announce that our summer show this year will be "Fiddler on the Roof"!

If you are interested in participating in camp, please reserve June 22 - July 11 on your calendar.

Our performance dates will be July 10-11.

More details about registration, auditions/callbacks, and pre-camp rehearsals will be sent in the coming weeks.

We invite you to pull out your formal duds for this evening - break out those long dresses and tuxedos! Remember that all attire should be in line with our Dress Guidelines (located on the DNA page of our website). Of course, you may wear clothing that meets the guidelines but is not fancy, but we ask gentlemen to include a suit jacket with their outfit.

Friends,
Due to the forecast, we are cancelling DNA for tomorrow night.

Because we all enjoy dressing up and looking spiffy, we are planning a "Winter Ball" for January 16. All the fancy dresses, nice suits, decorated tables, etc. Anyone who has already purchased a ticket for December 5 will have his/her ticket transferred to the new date. Refunds will be issued to anyone who requests one.

Sorry to miss you, but we feel this is the safer option.
