Load-in/Build has officially commenced! 🛠️

In this look behind the scenes, we are shining a massive spotlight on the powerhouse behind the build: our Resident Technical Director and Scenic Designer, Hailey Bean, and our student workers.

Bringing a world premiere like "small quiet good" to life requires a precise blend of artistry and creative engineering. Watching Hailey’s vision take shape on stage—from the first sketches to the final bolt—is nothing short of magic. We couldn't build these worlds without her expertise and dedication.

The myth. The monster. The woman.

We are thrilled to announce the world premiere of small quiet good by Chandler Hubbard—the latest production in The Lynn Theatre’s Studio Series. This series was designed to elevate bold new voices and foster fresh theatrical works, and this season is no exception.

The Story: Locked away for thousands of years, Medusa is forced to relive her own torment… until her sisters arrive for a rescue that only she can complete. Part reckoning, part retribution, and part beheading, this is a reimagining of the Gorgon myth that breathes visceral, modern life into an ancient tragedy.
Directed by Kerrigan Sullivan, this production brings together students and professionals to build something truly unique on our stage. Be a part of the audience that sees history in the making.

Director Kerrigan Sullivan is seeking actors for "small quiet good," a new play by Chandler Hubbard.

Synopsis: The myth, the monster, the woman: Medusa. She's been confined to Hell for thousands of years, forced to relive her own torment (and the torment of the dead who have gathered around her - namely, you). Today, her sisters and fellow Gorgons come to rescue her, but the chains binding Medusa can only be broken by the prisoner herself. It's a reckoning and a retribution; it's a bildungsroman and a beheading.

Auditions Apr. 10 and 11. Evening and weekend rehearsals begin April 15, 2026. All roles paid.

Help solve THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD at The Lynn Theatre! Based on Charles Dickens’ final unfinished novel, this hilarious whodunit invites the audience to solve its mystery by choosing the identity of the murderer. The tale is presented as a show-within-a-show, as the Music Hall Royale–a delightfully loony Victorian theatre company–presents Dickens’ brooding mystery.

Performances select dates through March 29. Visit www.brightpoint.edu/theatre for tickets and more information!

The show is recommended for audiences 13 and older. Run time is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes with an intermission.

THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC.

With magic, malice, and madness, Macbeth asks the question: are we masters of our own fate or pawns in the hands of dark forces beyond our control?
