The next vendor we want to feature is Michael Bollinger, a fine artist who says:

I've been creating, drawing and painting as far back as my memory takes me and as a child was always drawing my surroundings. As I grew older into young adulthood I veered off into surrealism. My current art interest is mostly objects, places and people from the past, vintage 1960s, 70s and 80s stores, automobiles, consumer goods, however I've also been exploring landscapes and Abstraction to a degree. I paint in both Acrylic and Oil mediums but also enjoy pen and ink. My paintings have been shown at central Virginia galleries, restaurants and even Salons. My hope is that my art provides a visual that is detailed enough to hold the viewers’ eye and simply be fun to look at, and most importantly, fun to create.

Vendor Feature: Our next Vendor Featured is Leslee Wallace who owns & operates Leslee's Loaf and Crumbs.

Hi, I’m Leslee — wife of 30 years, mom to 8+4, and Gigi to 3! I’ve been baking for my family and friends for decades here in Midlothian, VA. Creating homemade treats is truly one of my favorite things! Ingredients matter to me, I avoid seed oils, use raw honey, unbleached organic flour and whole wheat flour that I grind myself! When I use sugar it is organic and unrefined. The only olive oil I use is one traceable to a good source and I use Mediterranean mineral salt.

I specialize in Sourdough Butter Croissant Rounds, Sourdough Sandwich Loaves, Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls with Brown Butter Icing, Seasonal Cookies and Sourdough Focaccia.

Our Quail Hunt Court Cottage Market will be held TODAY, Saturday, August 8 from 10 am to 2 pm, rain or shine. There will be many wonderful home-baked goods such as a variety of sourdough breads, bagels, pound cake, pastries, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and cookies for you to enjoy. Enjoy them with cold brew coffee! Christopher from Fields Roast, will be there selling some of the best coffee you’ve ever had! Also Life’s Lemons Lemonade will be there with their ice-cold home-made lemonade—perfect on a hot day! You’re going to want to try a glass! Enjoy your treats in the shade of a tent set up for our guests.

In addition, we have handmade jewelry, skin-care products, soaps, fine art, beautiful home-décor, some Pokemon toys & keychains, also wood-burning & etched glass. We have several new vendors this time so please check out what they have to offer.

Are you into Gaming? We have a vendor who has a great selection of games, and he will be happy to buy, sell, or trade with you.
Our cottage market will be held on the 2nd Saturday of every month through October.

Vendor Feature: Our first vendor is Elizabeth Hutchins who owns Beautify Botanicals. Elizabeth writes:

Thank you for coming out to our cottage market on Saturday, July 11! Thank you to our vendors who braved the heat with a smile on their face! If you were one of the lucky attendees, than you experienced seeing some wonderful and creative talent. And perhaps you got to enjoy some of the best homemade lemonade ever!, some sweet treats or a delicious loaf of sourdough bread. Here are a few photos from this day. Remember...most of these vendors, along with some new ones, will be back on August 8!

Today is the Day! Our Quail Hunt Court Cottage Market will run today, July 11, from 10 am to 2 pm! It will be held on Quail Hunt Court, rain or shine. We have several sourdough bread bakers today along with many other home-made baked treats, including pastries, cinnamon rolls, and pound cake, etc. In addition, we have some fresh veggies, skin-care products, soaps, fine art, handmade artisan crafts and decor, jewelry, a gaming booth with great games for sale or trade, and many other unique items. We have more vendors than ever with many new folks joining us. Such a talented group!

Life’s Lemons Lemonade will offer delicious lemonade to cool you down! Our Cottage Market Logo will be posted at the entrance to our court and you’ll see several tents and booths set up in anticipation of your participation! Thank you for your support! See you soon!
