Wow! What an amazing school year! I am so proud of these students in all they’ve accomplished! From All Region, UIL Sweepstakes, all the awards from our Epic Waters trip, the stunning concerts and all the fun memories made in rehearsal. These students have had so much fun and I can’t to start it up again in the fall. Thank you to all the 8th graders going off to the high school next year! Make us proud! And we are super excited to welcome in the new 6th graders to the campus and anyone joining choir next school year! Here Is our choir performing the school song for the first time in concert. I hope everyone has an amazing summer and I am looking forward to even more fun and music making in the fall!

What an amazing day of music and fun!!!

I would like to recognize and congratulate all of the choirs on an amazing and historic performance yesterday at the Epic Waters Music Festival!

All four choirs sang for a judge and received "Superior" ratings (the highest rating)! Additionally, the judge was tasked with awarding a "Best in Class" award to the best performing 6th grade choirs and our 6th Grade Boys Choir received this high honor! This brings a total of 5 trophies (most in choir history) and the first competition they've performed in outside of UIL.

I am very proud of these students and the hard work they put in leading up to the event.

WHAT A DAY!!! Both 7th/8th Grade Choirs came and CONQUERED UIL!!! Clean Sweepstakes for both choirs meaning each judge gave them a division 1 rating!!! These kids worked so hard for this and have come such a long way!!!

We are excited to start at new tradition at DMS! Next week we will be doing our first ever “DMS CHOIR SPIRIT WEEK” as we get ready for our 7th and 8th grade choirs to perform at UIL in the upcoming week! Stay tuned for pictures of each day!

What an amazing day of music making! Congratulations to our students who put on an all-star level performance. They got to work with some of the best musicians as well as learn from two masterful clinicians! We are so proud of yall and your hard work for making it this far!

Congratulations to all of the students that competed today! They all did an amazing job in prepping for this competition! An additional congratulations to the select few that made the ALL-REGION CHOIR!!! These students will get the chance to rehearse with a masterful musican and will perform with others from the region on February 8th! So proud of them and everyone that auditioned! Huge thank you also to the parents that came and supported today!
