Well put. This is not a political statement when is say, AI will always be anti-human. There is no logical case to be made that it is not, in fact, anti-human. Imagine the good humans can do if they simply desired to create a solution to…cancer, illness, instead of treating symptoms and causing more side effects.
I believe in a solution mindset. Some solutions are worth more than others, and that’s all well and good. But AI? I won’t willfully use it.
The only thing that gives music any value at all, just like any other art form, is that it is an expression of the human soul. AI generated music is worthless and will always be worthless and no amount of technological advancement can ever change that. I’m sure an AI can generate something that sounds like a symphony. But it can never create anything with a fraction of the value or meaning of Beethoven’s 9th. If you can’t see that, then you are intellectually and spiritually deformed. I don’t know how else to put it.
