It is non-competitive cheerleading for girls ages 4-12 designed to build their self-esteem and confidence while having fun. They perform at local events around Midland throughout the school year. Fees:
Classes will begin August 29, 2022. Tuition is $70.00 per month and is due the first class of each month. There is a $65.00 registration fee that includes a Show Poms t-shirt! Please put your child
's name in the memo or put cash in an envelope with her name on it. A late fee of $10.00 will be added after the last day of the month. Return check charge is $25.00. Tuition fees have been averaged to be the same amount each month regardless of holidays or bad weather. I will hold a few extra classes during the year to prepare for performances and some months have an extra class day which will make up for days missed due to school holidays. What to Wear:
The girls will wear their Show Poms T-Shirt for the Homecoming Parade in September, and can also wear it to class each week. It is important for them to wear tennis shoes to class and something comfortable they can move around easily. Events:
We perform at local events in Midland throughout the year. Our first event is at one of the local high school’s homecoming parade, where we ride on a flatbed trailer and cheer for the high school team along the parade route. Our first dancing performance generally occurs during early December. We then perform approximately every two months throughout the school year. The girls learn a new dance routine for each performance. In past years we performed at the mall, the Museum of the Southewest’s Christmas at the Mansion event, Midland College basketball games, Celebration of the Arts, Arthritis Foundation walks, local high school events, and Rockhound baseball games.
