TBT: A few weeks ago, we were honored to have former American Ballet Theatre and Boston Ballet Principal Dancer Carla Stallings-Lippert in the studio for a Giselle workshop!

As we begin preparing for our April 2027 production, Carla spent time in the studio coaching our Company dancers on the artistry, technique, and storytelling that make Giselle one of the most treasured works in classical ballet.

"We are thrilled to have Carla join us to help set Giselle," said Artistic Director Susan Clark. "She has a profound understanding of this ballet's dramatic heart that really comes across in her coaching."

Our dancers were inspired to learn from an artist of Carla's caliber, and we are grateful for the expertise and encouragement she brought to the studio as work on Giselle begins.

We’ll be at the Midland Downtown Farmer’s Market tomorrow, June 20 for Midland Celebrates America 250 Arts and Culture Day! We’ll have an info booth with ticket giveaways and coloring pages, and a special performance to the iconic marches of John Philip Sousa at 10:30am. Come by! Say hi! And enjoy a special, FUN morning at the Midland Downtown Farmers Market as Midland Celebrates America 250!
