I know some people may be upset with me. I have a few drawings that have been pushed back a little bit so I could get to this one and I still missed our anniversary date 😬

In the 6 years my wife and I have been together (and 1 year married), I haven’t taken the time to capture her beauty. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do it justice and I’m not perfectly satisfied with how this turned out, but I gave it a shot. She’ll see it when she gets home today ❤️

The Midland mall has undergone a big change since we moved to the area. They definitely started putting a strong focus on family and community spaces. With that being said, the drawing of the Tridge was accepted as a donation by the Midland Mall. Soon you’ll be able to see it when walking the halls! 😊

One of my biggest fears when I got into doing charcoal at the start was going dark. Once you go too dark you can’t go back. That fear still lingers today, but every time I make the commitment I always wonder why I didn’t just do it from the start. Here I am going over an entire drawing all over again just to make it darker and I love how much more contrast there is. (Ive only done the top three stripes here)
