And that’s a wrap on another incredible year at West Texas Conservatory ✨

We ended our season with the most wonderful concert and walked away feeling so proud of this community we are building together.

This year, our students didn’t just learn music and dance. They grew in confidence, discipline, artistry, leadership, and joy. They learned how to work hard, support one another, and achieve things they never thought possible. Some highlights from this year:

• Launching an entirely new voice program
• Starting our homeschool program
• Welcoming our very first SUZUKI piano teacher
• Watching our first ever string student compete in All Region Orchestra and earn FIRST CHAIR in the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade orchestras… as a sixth grader
• Having two voice students perform in the TMEA All State Choir, along with multiple students earning placements in All City, All Region, and Pre Area
• Performing with West Texas Symphony at the Wagner Noël
• Having multiple students complete Royal Conservatory Examinations, all earning High Honors

But beyond the awards and accomplishments, what makes this place special is the atmosphere.

Children are known here. Encouraged here. Challenged here. Celebrated here.

They are surrounded by teachers who believe deeply in them and families who cheer not just for their own children, but for everyone else’s too. It is the kind of place that feels inspiring the moment you walk through the doors.

A big congratulations to Emmi-Lynn on playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ONE HUNDRED TIMES in just a couple of weeks! ✨

Dr. Suzuki said: “Knowledge is not skill. Knowledge plus ten thousand times is skill”.

Emmi-Lynn is well on her way and we couldn’t be more proud!
