MetalFest of Middletown Outdoor concert featuring local Metal, from all over California.Takes place Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. We moved to Middletown in late 2010.

Metal Fest Of Middletown - MFOM was created by us, Sheli and Randy Hunt. We love where we live, and we have a little property for the first time. So when the weather got nice we decided to have a BBQ. We invited some of our good friends over and it just so happened that some of them played in a band. We said lets make it a party. The Publiquors and Thought Vomit played that night and we all had s

o much fun, we discussed doing it every year. It didn't have a name yet. The next year we had 4 bands, Thought Vomit, Sticky Eyelids, Sanctuary Lost and Chin Check. We named it appropriately Metal Fest Of Middletown. We have our event yearly to support some of the best of Metal music from all over California. We do this out of our love for Metal and want to support the Metal scene as much as we can. We're just a couple metal heads from way back My husband Randy built a really nice stage, which the bands seem to appreciate. I started cooking for the bands to pay them some how for all they do to come to our house and play. Then we had a mexican family come up for a couple years that had a grill but that didn't work out well. Finally...... Our long time friends Matt Sainson and Charles Sauser wanted to support us somehow, so for the past 2 years and presently they have been serving up some awesome food for all the band members and us. We love those guys! We offer camping and usually have quite a few people who stay. It's an all day event, all ages welcome. Everybody has a lot of fun and it gets bigger and better every year. If you're ever in Middletown over Memorial day weekend, our event is always on the Saturday of. Come on down to Metal Town \,,/

Riley Gale, the vocalist for Dallas-area thrash metal band Power Trip, died on Monday, August 24, at the age of 34.

Well this situation certainly sucks. This years MFOM will be cancelled due to COV-19. We will be back next year. We are so bummed that all of this happened, but not a thing we can do about it. Sorry metal heads, see ya in May of 2021. Stay safe and stay healthy!!
