Everybody get down… and my 17‑year‑old spirit said BET, while my 42‑year‑old back said ABSOLUTELY NOT 💀🕺🏽✨ Vibes undefeated, spine in recovery.

Last night was WILD.
Started with a private 50th birthday at , an eras party with costumes so good they deserved their own museum wing. House music all night, energy through the roof, and a crowd that danced like they were headlining their own tour.

Then I sprinted straight into a house party that went until 5AM.
And here’s the best part: the DJs held it DOWN while I was double‑booked. Huge love to & y'all killed it!

Honestly… if it wasn’t for the ongoing community at , I wouldn’t have even connected with . We’d never met in person until last night and he still came out on his own time to help me cover the party. That’s FAMILY energy. That’s community. That’s what TDA does: it brings DJs together in the real world.

Two gigs. Ten hours. One broken back. Zero regrets.

A friend messaged me today saying they were watching my old episode of Secret Lives of Americans… so I went to check, and y’all… they STILL have my face as the anchor photo for the whole series on . Season 1, Episode 7, Haitian trans hottie front and center. I’m still screaming.😱😱😱

This aired in 2014, but so much of it still hits today.
My story, my family, my transition, my mom’s journey… all of it is still real, still human, still happening for so many people right now.

And with everything going on in the world, all the noise, all the fear, all the hate, I just want to scream this:

🗣Live and let live.
No one is asking you to be trans.
No one is asking you to get gay married.
No one is asking you to have an abortion.
🗣People are just asking to exist in peace.
To love their people.
To be supported by their people.
To be left alone if they’re not hurting anyone.

Easter was yesterday, and the message is the same:
Love your neighbor.
Even when they’re different from you.
Especially then.

My mom always laughed whenever I said, "You only die once!"
Tonight, the grief came in waves. My mom, my uncles, my aunts, friends, and even the baby cousin I never got to see grow up . It all rises in quiet moments, kitchen moments, and the places you don’t expect.

Tostones and tenderness reminded me that love doesn’t disappear. It just changes shape. These last few weeks have been a haze of feelings. Clarity has a way of hurting and healing at the same time... Life is short. Partnership matters. Honesty matters. Saying ALL the things MATTER.

I swore I wasn’t getting another dog.
Not after losing forever.

Between traveling, DJ gigs, late nights, wedding weekends… I’ve convinced myself I’m “not a pet person anymore.”
Or maybe I just wasn’t ready.

But this mini Yorkie, Grabber, pulled up like,
“Hey… so I’m just gonna steal your heart real quick.”
And honestly… it’s working.
I forgot how good it feels to have a tiny shadow following me around.

No one will ever replace my little legend, not even Grabber!

But maybe my heart has more room than I thought.
