I just want to send a huge THANK YOU out to all my Glasgow Park and Middletown Farm Market customers. Without all of you, the farm markets would not be a success. While the markets run until the end of October, I have wrapped up my market season there. I will be attempting to keep up with Filasky's Produce needs as far as Pumpkin donuts go until they close for the season, and I have some craft shows through the end of the year. As always, you can order from me year round for pick up or local delivery, and I will be doing pies for the holidays. Jams and jellies are always in stock (current list of availability is at the top of my page). For now - it's time to make the donuts - aiming for at least 500 today to cover Filasky's for tomorrow. Hey Everyone - just so you know - Thursday's market at Glasgow Park is likely to be my last one of the season. Filasky's Produce highlights my baked pumpkin donuts at their market every year - made with their own pumpkins - therefore I need to spend my days making the donuts for all of the groups and families that support their market. This week alone I made over 1000 donuts and we're just getting started! Their pumpkin Patch is open with all of its activities and I encourage everyone to shop small business and check them out! See you all there or feel free to place orders for donuts by the dozen directly from me for pickup.

For my customers who have developed a fondness for Peach Bourbon jam - I am making it tomorrow night and will have it at Glasgow Market thursday and at my home.

UPDATE: Due to predicted high winds, the Farm Market behind the library tomorrow has been cancelled for everyone's safety.

I have my pumpkin donuts, herb focaccia bread, scones, cookies, brownies, large and small lemon and pumpkin breads available for sale at my home at 305 N Cass Street in town. I can also get sourdough breads for you is that's what your in need of as well. Feel free to stop by and stock up. Most of what I make keeps well in the frig and can be frozen if you need to.

Another peach festival is in the books. Thanks to everyone who came out to peach central for pies, breads, jams, salsas, ice cream, tea, donuts, pastries...you name it. We are grateful for everyone's support. Now we take a few minutes to relax before starting the baking for next week. Just think.....in one more month - pumpkin donut season begins!

the pies are made - double crust or crumb top - 68 still available, the cobbler's are made - 32 available, the breads and scones are made, and we're bringing out the jam selection as well for peach festival tomorrow. We will be opening the day around 9 am at the corner of West Lake and North Cass Streets. Stop in early for best selection - we can hold your purchases in the house while you are enjoying the day. Ms Pat will have delicious sauces, low sugar jams, salsas, a Peach w**e tasting, peach ice tea, ice cream, and a variety of peachy treats as well. Remember. we're the place to get the peachy stuff! (until we run out). See you all tomorrow!

No backing out now...550 lbs of peaches, getting ready for pies and cobblers. And my peach paring relatives are arriving tonight. Every year we donate to a locally sponsored charity with profits from Peach Festival. This year we're keeping it VERY local, and will be giving to Our Daily Bread. I am keeping the price of pies/cobblers at $20 even though the price of peaches has doubled. So for anyone feeling extra generous, there will be a donation box at the table that will go directly to Our Daily Bread on top of what we are able to give from sales. Thank you to everyone in advance. Tomorrow I make crust.........Thursday we start baking.....see you all Saturday!

Ok Folks- we’re on the Peach Festival Countdown here in my kitchen. We’ll be making peach pies, peach cobbler, breads, scones, jams, sauces and other treats for the Festival this week. We’ll be set up at the corner of West Lake and North Cass streets on Saturday where we will have crazy amounts of peachy stuff including a w**e tasting, ice cream, tea, salsas, danish. We usually open at 9 and close when we run out. See you all Saturday!
