Another peach festival is in the books. Thanks to everyone who came out to peach central for pies, breads, jams, salsas, ice cream, tea, donuts, pastries...you name it. We are grateful for everyone's support. Now we take a few minutes to relax before starting the baking for next week. Just think.....in one more month - pumpkin donut season begins!

the pies are made - double crust or crumb top - 68 still available, the cobbler's are made - 32 available, the breads and scones are made, and we're bringing out the jam selection as well for peach festival tomorrow. We will be opening the day around 9 am at the corner of West Lake and North Cass Streets. Stop in early for best selection - we can hold your purchases in the house while you are enjoying the day. Ms Pat will have delicious sauces, low sugar jams, salsas, a Peach wine tasting, peach ice tea, ice cream, and a variety of peachy treats as well. Remember. we're the place to get the peachy stuff! (until we run out). See you all tomorrow!

No backing out now...550 lbs of peaches, getting ready for pies and cobblers. And my peach paring relatives are arriving tonight. Every year we donate to a locally sponsored charity with profits from Peach Festival. This year we're keeping it VERY local, and will be giving to Our Daily Bread. I am keeping the price of pies/cobblers at $20 even though the price of peaches has doubled. So for anyone feeling extra generous, there will be a donation box at the table that will go directly to Our Daily Bread on top of what we are able to give from sales. Thank you to everyone in advance. Tomorrow I make crust.........Thursday we start baking.....see you all Saturday!

Ok Folks- we’re on the Peach Festival Countdown here in my kitchen. We’ll be making peach pies, peach cobbler, breads, scones, jams, sauces and other treats for the Festival this week. We’ll be set up at the corner of West Lake and North Cass streets on Saturday where we will have crazy amounts of peachy stuff including a wine tasting, ice cream, tea, salsas, danish. We usually open at 9 and close when we run out. See you all Saturday!

Today’s haul from the peach tree. I’m bringing some of the best ones with me to Broken Spoke tomorrow. No pesticides of any kind, so expect some blemishes. They are nice and sweet. Bags of 8 for $4. I’ll be there for Gift and Gab.

Hello friends - I am sorry to say I will not be at the Middletown saturday farm market this week, due to needing to attend a family funeral. I will be at Glasgow Park on Thursday and Whitehall on Friday. Of course, I will deliver baked goods to Filasky's Produce on Friday morning. Going to be a hot week, so I am limited to baked goods that hold up in the heat. Cookies, brownies, scones, granola, and candied walnuts. See you all soon!

Hey folks - I will not be at the Middletown Farmer's Market this week. If you are a fan of scones, cookies, or brownies, Filasky's Produce on Bunker Hill Rd. has a bit extra in the baked good department. Stop out and grab some of Johnny's delicious corn and a treat this weekend.
