Come learn Leather detail and tooling with instructor Gabe Gabe Hurd and complete a leather keychain!

A more detail and result-focused class than the beginner’s class.

Working on producing a simple tooled leather panel to use as a keychain or focus piece in a larger project. We will be producing a finished piece in class.

About the instructor: Gabe Hurd
I’m a bladesmith, woodcarver, jeweler, leatherworker, tailor, and graphic artist, all self taught. I’ll teach anything I know. At age 7 I knew I wanted to be a bladesmith, and have since picked up all the skills to run the process myself, plus some side skills. Each class has no set pace, I teach at the speed of understanding. I try to maintain a relaxed and hands off approach, as I’ve found that letting people learn by themselves is important.

You and your (romantic or non-romantic) date spend the evening painting a portrait of each other. At the end of the night you swap.
