Asking a photographer, a musician, any artist what happens “for fun”?
Blank stare. 😆

“What do I create when I’m not getting paid?”

✈️ Window seat. 35,000 feet. One “random” in-flight movie I had zero plans to watch… then a tiny moment at boarding hit me harder than the landing.

As a portrait photographer, seniors are never “just seniors” to me. They’re legacy. Humor. Fire. Tenderness. Stubborn pride. Quiet fear. That invisible shift when roles start flipping — when the older generation goes from protector to the one who needs a hand… sometimes from a teenager.

That connection between generations is my devotion, my fascination — honestly, something that feels like it has to be photographed, talked about, honored.

Happy New Year to all the wonderful friends, special people in my life! Appreciate learning and being inspired by each of you! Appreciate… the fact that you tolerate my random 2am thoughts, my questionable reels and statements, and that one story I’ve told approximately 47 times.

Here’s to another year of making memories, sharing laughs, and pretending we have our lives together (we’re all just winging it, right?). Thank you for being the kind of people who make life brighter, funnier, and infinitely more interesting.

May 2026 bring us more reasons to celebrate, fewer reasons to stress, and the same beautiful mess that makes our lives so special. Wohooo to you, to us, and to whatever adventures await! 🎉✨
