As of August 1, 2026, I’ve completed my 35th year of full-time operation on Main Street in Middletown CT’s historic North End, serving the public in recording and production services out of a little brick building that I turned into a recording studio back in 1990. That is quite a long time for one person to be in business, especially a business in the arts, and I want to thank each and every one of you who has helped make that possible.
For myself, it is and has been more than anything else, a true and deep musical journey - one where I have honed my craft and have helped to bring thousands of music projects to the world, through my both facilitating and collaborating with musicians, music groups, and songwriters, as well as through my work on my in-house music projects. All of this from my humble recording studio right here in downtown Middletown, CT.
The Coffeehouse and I have amassed an amazing history and a large and varied 35-year discography that showcases a world of music and songwriting talent, creativity and vision. Lots of airplay, album releases, singles, demos, concert recordings, music for commercials, songs in films, television, on vinyl, on broadway and beyond.
I am forever grateful to all who have recorded with me here over the years. I have experienced and learned so much about music and the art of music production along the way. And as I enter my 36th year in business here on Main Street, I do so with a great excitement for the future, and a deep respect for my past, and all who share this history with me.
