My heart feels even heavier with the latest escalations.

As a military mom, there isn’t much I can do from thousands of miles away except pray, wait for those “I’m okay” text messages, and do everything I can to support my son and his fellow soldiers.

Every care package, every donated item, every word of encouragement reminds them they haven’t been forgotten. It may seem like a small gesture, but to someone serving far from home, it can mean the world.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came out to support our Stars, Stripes and Support light show this past month. 🇺🇸✨

The generosity you showed our troops has truly exceeded anything I ever imagined. When I created the Amazon gift list, I simply hoped our soldiers would receive a few necessities and comfort items. Instead, together we purchased more than 350 gifts 🎁🎁 for our brave men and women deployed in the Middle East.

As a military mom, it’s impossible to put into words what it means to know that so many people care about our soldiers, my son, and his unit. During some of the hardest days of our lives, your kindness has reminded us that they are never facing this deployment alone.

I also wanted to give everyone a quick update.

Right now, Amazon is experiencing significant shipping delays for these orders. Please, please, please don’t cancel your orders. 🙏📦 I have been in contact with Amazon’s military support team, and they have assured me they are actively working to get everything shipped as quickly as possible. The recent airstrikes on our bases are definitely not helping. 😢💔

Eric and I are so grateful to live in a community that truly cares. ❤️ Your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support have touched our hearts more than you’ll ever know.

Your gifts are still incredibly important, and I know they will mean so much when they arrive. Thank you again for standing behind our troops and reminding them that people back home appreciate the sacrifices they make every single day. 🇺🇸❤️

This morning, as military helicopters flew over our house, I stood there with a lump in my throat.

I was filled with pride to be an American. 🇺🇸

But I also couldn’t stop the tears.

For most of us, those helicopters are part of an Independence Day celebration.

For our son and so many others serving in the Middle East, they’re part of another day in a war zone.

Freedom isn’t free.

Please find it in your heart to click our Amazon wish list and send a little something to our Patriot Air Defenders. For months, they have been among the primary targets, taking the brunt of the attacks while protecting others and have very limited access to anything ! Every snack, hygiene item, or comfort item is a reminder that America hasn’t forgotten them. 🇺🇸
