“I’ve met some of my best friends because of CMB,” graduating senior Nina says. Moreover, she believes, “Dancing with CMB helped me become a more positive and confident person.” Her favorite CMB memories include spending time with her friend’s backstage during The Little Matchstick Girl and, “. . . laughing in class with my friends.” Nina’s advice for younger dancers? “Work hard even when you feel discouraged and never compare yourself to other dancers because everyone improves at different rates. Also, talk to as many people as you can, dance friends are some of the best friends you’ll make!” This fall Nina will attend UW – Madison to major in International Studies and Communications. Let us be clear, even if she never trained with CMBA, Nina would still be one the most positive people you could ever encounter. Nina, we know with your brains, work ethic and innate positivity, you will do wonderful things in college. As for your time with CMB, thanks and bravo!
