Selmer parade details!

We are decorating float at 4 pm sharp at the Selmer community center parking lot. 230 N 5th Street, Selmer, TN.

Anyone willing to volunteer would be great since we have one hour to put it together.

I have the girls light batons and headwear to wear.

Dress: Black leggings or sweat pants (something warm). Black, pink or purple sweater shirt.

If they are matching comfortable tennis shoes, white or black if you have them. If not wear what you have. Don’t wear your jazz or ballet shoes because the road will mess them up.

Please send me a message below if you are attending as I know many are out of town for holiday. I would like to have a count!!!

My 5:30 classes . Please bring tap shoes with you because we are tapping and twirling for this new routine. The twirlers will love the tap part! (And it’s cute as can be!). But bring tap shoes and their other shoes for gymnastics. The tap shoes will tear the mats so we don’t want them wearing tap shoes on the mats. Especially the recent one added. If you forget, that’s ok; they can just take off the tap shoes for gymnastics!!!!

We have more “dancemail” that has arrived. I’m excited to see what we do with all the new equipment.

Also, for my younger girls class. I would like to introduce tap into our routine. I had to wait to get new tap shoes for me because all my dance stuff burned in a house fire in 2005. But I’ve got my new tap shoes! (I loved tap!). Those that would like for your little one to learn, then they would need a pair of tap shoes. They can twirl and tap dance. It’s adorable to watch and they are learning another form of dance.

Amazon has some for 19.00. I wouldn’t buy expensive ones because their feet grow fast. But there are several styles. It’s up to you if you want to have them learn tap with their twirling.
